Writing Web Applications

Writing web applications in Go is simple as node.js, light and easy, a breath of fresh air, if you are from the java background, you know what l mean.

We hate java servlet, we have to do a lot configuration or may be choose a framework to start (jsf, spring framework, jboss ..etc) simply to start a page, you will ask yourself sometimes, why they make it so complex? is that neccessary? can't we do thing another simple way?

Now spring guys are promoting spring boot, then they said: "Hm... we now have a quick boot tool for the application" , but what they don't tell you is that you have to learn new thing again, ...tada... if you remember spring roo , you will know that this is a never ending story.

If you wanna start a simple page in node.js, there is a simple example in their home page,

Is this simple enough ?

For java:

Please make thing simple, stupid !

Throw the servlet away !!! start lightweight again.

l think node.js has great influence to Go.

  1. What’s wrong with the Java Servlet API - even without this article, l hate java servlet personally, because l am some kind like a mobile phone end user : please don't let me to learn a lot, l just need a simple phone, otherwise l will change you (the phone).
